The Burger King
Every artist has a story. Mine is a bit different probably. I traveled for a couple of years and lived and worked in all kind of countries all over the world. At some point while I was backpacking through
New Zealand I discovered more about electronic music production but had no possibility for internet at my accommodation. To access Wi-Fi, I would drive one hour, buy a milkshake at the nearest Burger King once a week and download music production tutorials to watch offline later back home. This humble start marked the beginning of my journey into electronic music.

How it all started
I was born in a small village called Heinkenszand in Zeeland, Netherlands, and my love for music began early. At 11, I taught myself piano on my sister’s keyboard. Between ages 13 and 15, I picked up guitar and took drum lessons. Eventually before I fully committed to music, I ran a successful videography company as a teenager which also allowed me to travel the world.​
Now a couple of years later I completed a two-year music program at the iconic studios from Abbey Road at the Institute in Amsterdam, improving my skills in music production.

What music do I play?
I play a wide range of electronic music.

I have a deep understanding how important it is for an event, festival or club to meet the expected genres of their audience. I prepare every set specifically for the event and venue so my sets bring the right energy to the right audience.
An ideal set for example could be to create a journey with a bpm range of 125 towards 130 bpm. The set would be starting with Minimalistic House, to Tech House with a tiny bit more melody, towards more Melodic driven tracks. A real journey in rising energy.

My main focus is to make sure the tracks I play in my sets are high in danceability. For me personally that means that it should be clear to the audience when and how to dance on the rhythm of the drums. It should feel natural and easy.
